Fit Pro Programming (FPP) was founded on a simple yet powerful shared dream: to create fitness programming that caters to the needs of the instructor, honoring them as co-creators in a mission to make the world a healthier place.

A company created by instructors, for instructors, FPP takes its cues (pun intended) from co-founders Tricia Murphy-Madden and Lauren George—two bold, trailblazing leaders who fell in love with the fitness industry as instructors. Their vision? To reimagine the industry in a way that is sustainable for all stakeholders and rooted in the magic that inspired us all to teach.

Our programs translate cutting-edge exercise science into creative, streamlined fitness formats that are as easy for instructors to teach as they are inclusive for participants to enjoy. And through it all, we remain fiercely committed to simplicity: no red tape, no hidden fees, and no unnecessary rules.

Because at FPP, we believe that teaching fitness should be the best job in the world.

What we believe

  • Specialty group fitness education should be free from facility licensing fees, excessive continuity requirements, and exploitative recertification policies.
  • Group fitness instructors—and the gyms, studios, and clubs they work with—should have access to affordable programming that keeps them current in the industry.
  • Group fitness trends should be captured with the integrity and cutting-edge exercise science for the safety and efficacy of the client.
  • Fitness formats should be adaptable to a variety of spaces, equipment budgets, and venues.

  • Virtual fitness is here to stay, and restricting instructors from teaching licensed formats online serves no one.
  • With as many types of instructors as there are students, fitness education should support diverse learning styles and teaching approaches.
  • While practice is essential, certifications should be taught clearly and cohesively—so instructors feel confident and ready to teach by Monday morning.
  • If it’s not fun, it’s not worth doing!
